Operation Munson
A few months ago, AL-Tru was contacted by Pastor Bryant Wright, founder of Right from the Heart Ministries, an international media ministry, regarding a special request to send his Executive Director on a much-deserved vacation with his family.
Jonathan and Lisa Munson, along with their three teenage children—one of whom has a rare genetic disorder—are a close-knit family who loves spending time together. They are thrilled to have the opportunity to visit Pigeon Forge this fall!
UPDATE
Thanks to your prayers and support, Operation Munson was a success! They had a great time. Here is an excerpt from Jonathan’s thank you letter:
“We rarely have the opportunity to ‘let go and have fun’ without thinking about expenses. You made it possible for us to relax, laugh, and create wonderful memories. I really appreciate the way you thought through the details and took care of everything. The suburban, the house, the gift cards, and spending money were just what we needed. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your intentional act of kindness.”
Additionally, one of Jonathan’s co-workers shared this with us after his return:
“I had a chance to ask him about it, and the entire experience moved him! Thank you from someone who has known and loved Jonathan for 27 years. He and his family deserve anything good that can be provided for them.”
